The purpose of this survey is to identify modeling and simulation capabilities related to cyber-physical systems (CPS), guide future operationally relevant model and simulation capabilities, develop training tailored to address specific gaps, conduct and inform an assessment to identify foundations for establishing and maintaining programs of shared, affordable, modeling and simulation of cyber-physical systems and incident response capabilities that can simulate complex cyber and physical events and disruptions on individual, sector unique and multi-sector systems to ensure technology capability readiness for transition success of new integrated technology for cyber-physical systems.
